Phoenix Group of Ely

The Phoenix Support Group is an educational and support group for people who are involved in the challenges of caring for loved ones with mental illness.  The group is a self directed effort to learn more about various illnesses, their treatments, and the resource options in the larger community.  We believe the negative stigma of mental illness is a form of bigotry based in fear and lack of understanding. Confidentially is a fundamental feature of the group, but we also encourage respectful, open communication.  Mental illness, like any other illness, need not be borne in silence.
