Phoenix Group of Ely

The Phoenix Support Group is an educational and support group for people who are involved in the challenges of caring for loved ones with mental illness.  The group is a self directed effort to learn more about various illnesses, their treatments, and the resource options in the larger community.  We believe the negative stigma of mental illness is a form of bigotry based in fear and lack of understanding. Confidentially is a fundamental feature of the group, but we also encourage respectful, open communication.  Mental illness, like any other illness, need not be borne in silence. To learn more about the Phoenix Group, contact Annette at 349-7780, or Claire at 365-7828.

CSN Warm Line: 1-877-404-3190 (toll free) Tuesday through Saturday 4pm-10pm          Warmlines are confidential anonymous phone lines (not crisis lines) answered by peers (persons with a psychiatric diagnosis) professionally trained to provide support. Our warmliners are trained to connect with, share, and provide support, hope, and a listening ear for peers in times of stress, uncertainty, if you need someone to truly understand your struggle that has “been there before” or if you need a local resource or referral.
