Northern Lights Clubhouse is a community of adults recovering from and living with mental illness, working together to reduce isolation and improve overall health and wellbeing for Clubhouse and community members.
Our clubhouse is a healing and mentoring environment for persons who have had their lives disrupted by mental illness and need the support of others who believe that recovery is possible.
The heart of the Northern Lights Clubhouse is structured activities offering opportunities to develop skills, pursue interests, and engage with other members and staff. These activities can include cooking and baking, yoga and meditation, art projects, group discussions, community education initiatives, and more. The Clubhouse is unique in that participants are members and the focus is on strengths and successes.
There is no specific diagnosis, doctors referral, or assessment necessary to be part of our community. Anyone who is facing mental illness, life challenges, stress, or isolation is welcome to become a member.
Members and staff work side-by-side, as colleagues, in an atmosphere of mutual caring and respect, performing a wide variety of tasks necessary to the operation of the organization from cleaning to grant-writing.
ANYONE is welcome to join us in building meaningful community.
